Ben Cook, DO
Dr. Ben Cook is a Family Medicine physician at the Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG) in Jefferson City, Missouri. He completed his bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He then completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medical Degree at A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Cook completed his Family Medicine residency and his General Surgery/ENT internship at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He is board-certified in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Cook has dedicated his life to serving and helping others, whether earning his Eagle Scout badge with the Boy Scouts, volunteering at church, or conducting medical missions in Nicaragua. He is a dedicated physician who strives to develop personal medical care for each of his patients. Dr. Cook is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, the American Association of Family Practice, the American Medical Association, and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Cooks is also very involved with Special Olympics Missouri and is currently on their Board of Directors. He received the Golisano Health Leadership Award in 2023 from Special Olympics Missouri.
Dr. Cook is from Rolla, Missouri, and enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, running, and camping. He spends his free time with his family, playing games or working on the family farm.
