Mason Bowman, PharmD, BCACP


Mason Bowman is originally from southeast Idaho and, after meeting his wife at BYU-Idaho, moved to Pullman, Washington to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University which he obtained in 2008. During the seven years following his education, he moved to Yakima, WA, spending five years in a multidisciplinary clinic and the remaining two years in a hospital and compounding pharmacy. Additionally, he was appointed by the WA governor to serve for two terms on the WA Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee for the WA Medicaid program. 
 
In 2015, he moved to Puyallup, WA for a position as a faculty member for The East Pierce Family Medicine residency program.  
 
He brought his experience and expertise to Billings, MT in 2020 to the SCL Health Medical Group, now Intermountain Health to the Internal Medicine Associates, the Heart & Vascular Cardiology Clinic, as well as multiple family medicine clinics.  
 
As a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, Mason has extensive experience with the medical management of diabetes, mental health, anticoagulation, and cardiology with expertise in heart failure management developing pharmacist-led heart failure services in WA and Billings.
 
In addition to teaching pharmacology to medical residents, he has lectured for multiple Physician-Assistant and Nurse Practitioner college programs in WA and currently is with Rocky Mountain College. 
 
He enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids in the outdoors and just relaxing in front of the TV. Specific hobbies include fly-fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and training for ultramarathons and Spartan races.
